I’ve been serving the Merced community since 2009, providing personalized gynecologic and wellness care for women at every stage of life — from adolescence through menopause and beyond. My mission is to create a safe, supportive space where women feel seen, heard, and empowered to take charge of their health.

I completed my medical degree at St. George’s University in Grenada and my residency in Obstetrics and Gynecologyat St. Barnabas Medical Center in New Jersey. I also hold a Master’s in Public Health from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and an undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis. Born in Toledo, Ohio, to Filipino immigrant parents, I’m fluent in Spanish and deeply value cultural inclusivity in healthcare. Outside of medicine, I enjoy yoga, strength training, cooking, traveling, and serving as the Fundraising Chair on the Board of Directors for Playhouse Merced, our local community theater.

Kristina M. Sogocio, MD

With over 15 years of experience in private practice and hospital medicine, I’ve cared for thousands of women and delivered more than 1,500 babies. Today, my focus is on midlife health — guiding women through perimenopause and menopause with evidence-based care, hormone therapy, and personalized lifestyle support.

In addition to women’s health services, I offer advanced, non-surgical treatments that support wellness and comfort from the inside out, including:
-
Pelvic floor strengthening (VTone)
-
Skin tightening and rejuvenation (Morpheus8, FormaV)
-
Laser hair removal and IPL therapy (DiolazeXL, Lumecca)
-

I believe in whole-person care — addressing not only the physical, but also the mental, emotional, and social aspects of women’s well-being. I currently see patients in Merced and Roseville, and also offer Telehealth appointments for California residents.
